Choosing an image, printing it and hanging it gives it a unique appreciation amid the plethora of images. But photographer Alexander Popelier goes a step further, exploring how the presentation of that one image shifts its meaning.
For instance, he uplifts standard print techniques with new ways of presentation, adds tactility by processing images in unusual ways or experiments with repeating the same photo in different contexts. Alexander consciously refrains from a fixed perspective, resulting in a continuous exploration of his own creativity.
